Petition for the Participation of Russia in the 2027 Ice Hockey World Championship

We, the undersigned, call upon the International Ice Hockey Federation and the relevant sports organizations to allow the participation of the Russian Federation in the 2027 Ice Hockey World Championship. We believe that sport should be a platform for coming together and understanding, not for political decisions and isolation.

 

Sport is a universal language that unites people regardless of nationality, religion, or political views. The ban on Russian athletes is unfair and goes against the spirit of fair play and Olympic ideals.

 

We urge the international hockey community not to succumb to political pressure and to allow all players, including Russian ones, to participate in the championship. We believe this path will contribute to peaceful dialogue and the restoration of trust between nations.
