Wir fordern die Stadt Berlin und die zuständigen Behörden dazu auf, die bestehende Billie-Eilish-Wand in Berlin nicht vollständig in ihren ursprünglichen Zustand zurückzuversetzen, sondern die bestehende Gestaltung und die damit verbundene Erinnerung an diesen besonderen Ort zu erhalten.
Die Wand ist für viele Fans von Billie Eilish zu einem besonderen Treffpunkt und Erinnerungsort geworden. Durch die zahlreichen Zeichnungen, Nachrichten und kreativen Beiträge der Fans hat sich der Ort zu etwas entwickelt, das über eine gewöhnliche Hauswand hinausgeht.
Uns ist bewusst, dass öffentliche Flächen und Gebäude geschützt und gepflegt werden müssen und dass illegale Beschriftungen im öffentlichen Raum nicht grundsätzlich erlaubt sind. Unser Anliegen richtet sich daher nicht gegen die Pflege und den Schutz des öffentlichen Raums, sondern gegen eine vollständige Entfernung der entstandenen Gestaltung und der damit verbundenen Erinnerung.
Wir bitten die zuständigen Stellen deshalb darum, nach einer Möglichkeit zu suchen, zumindest einen Teil der bestehenden Gestaltung zu bewahren oder die Wand als offiziell anerkannten Erinnerungs- bzw. Fan-Ort bestehen zu lassen.
Eine mögliche Lösung wäre beispielsweise:
- die Erhaltung eines ausgewählten Teils der bestehenden Gestaltung,
- die Einrichtung einer offiziell genehmigten Fläche für Fan-Kunst,
- die Dokumentation und Bewahrung besonders bedeutender Beiträge,
- oder eine andere Lösung, bei der sowohl die Interessen der Stadt als auch die Bedeutung des Ortes für die Community berücksichtigt werden.
Wir bitten Berlin darum, nicht einfach alles zu entfernen, sondern gemeinsam mit der Community nach einer Lösung zu suchen, die diesen besonderen Ort bewahrt.
Die Billie-Eilish-Wand ist für viele Menschen ein Ort voller Erinnerungen, Kreativität und gemeinschaftlicher Verbundenheit. Wir hoffen daher, dass eine Lösung gefunden werden kann, bei der diese Bedeutung erhalten bleibt.

We call on the City of Berlin and the relevant authorities not to completely restore the existing Billie Eilish wall in Berlin to its original condition, but instead to preserve its current appearance and the memories associated with this special place.
For many Billie Eilish fans, the wall has become a meaningful meeting point and a place of memories. Through the numerous drawings, messages, and creative contributions made by fans, this location has become something that goes beyond an ordinary building wall.
We understand that public spaces and buildings must be protected and maintained, and that unauthorized writing in public spaces is generally not permitted. Our initiative is therefore not intended to oppose the maintenance and protection of public spaces, but rather to prevent the complete removal of the artwork and the memories associated with it.
We therefore ask the relevant authorities to look for a way to preserve at least part of the wall’s current appearance, or alternatively to allow the wall to remain as an officially recognized memorial or fan location.
Possible solutions could include:
- preserving a selected part of the existing artwork,
- creating an officially approved area for fan art,
- documenting and preserving particularly meaningful contributions,
- or finding another solution that takes into account both the interests of the City of Berlin and the importance of this place to the community.
We ask Berlin not to simply remove everything, but instead to work together with the community to find a solution that preserves this special place.
For many people, the Billie Eilish wall is a place filled with memories, creativity, and a sense of community. We therefore hope that a solution can be found that allows this meaning to be preserved.
