I am Rightly Proud of My father and what he did for Czechoslovakia during the war.
Do the Local Government have no knowledge of what happened to these brave airmen after the war ? Do they not realise that it was Government policy that they were tortured and many hundreds of Czechs are now spread across the world whereas they should all be Proud Czechs still living in what was our homeland that our fathers fought so hard for ! Yet again its people without the knowledge who are trying to decide our heroes fate - It has been a long time coming, lets face it, the Czech government have had 65 YEARS to decide on a Monument to these Brave Men - now because someone else has done their work for them , they are trying to undo all the good work.
Remind you of anything ? Shame on you for even contemplating such a move. I would love to have a little bit of the Czech Republic where I could go and pay my respects when I get to come over to visit.
